I woke up in the wee small hours of the morning to the sound of the downpour of rain. My first thought was Are you serious? Then I heard the angels...Haaallelujah! Haaallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Halleeee-lu-jah! The firefighter's prayers are being answered. It's one: thirty in the afternoon and already I feel like the world is slowly piecing back together. The orange haze is gone and the air is fresh and crisp. Maybe the world isn't coming to an end. There is hope. I can feel it. In honor of those fighting the fires and helping the victims, today's buckle of choice on the 1st ANNUAL BIG BELT BUCKLE FRIDAY is of the American Red Cross. For those of you at Sony, the company will match any monetary gift you donate. Good deal. I think this generous gesture warrants a FIGHT ON.
Speaking of FIGHT ON, Laurel and I will be going to USC's Homecoming game where the MIGHTY MIGHTY TROJANS will rip apart them Washington State-ers. Please feel free to meet up with us at any time before, during, and after our debaucherous quest to beat the Cougars. Good times will be had.
