Okay, maybe not 12, but at the most 15. Erin and I went to see LOVE ACTUALLY the other night and as we handed our tickets to the gal (who, herself, looked at most 18), she says, "Oh, hey guys. I need to see your IDs." (Utter shock) Are you kidding me? I know the movie is rated R, but c'mon! I look that young!? I was amused, but not. Basically, it was ricockulous. All those who think I really do look under 17, comment with an "I."

Posted by: Kathy at November 18, 2003 06:45 PMsadly, that's a big double "I" from your favorite ex-roomie in Novato. i think i told you on my way back from ghana, they thought i was an unaccompanied minor - that's like under 13!! but, i guess it will be nice when we're 80 and our ID's are still seriously scrutinized at every bar we go to (you know how tough it will be for me to stay out of the hard core goth bars even when i'm 80), so HOORAY FOR LOOKING 12!!
