Nipped in the Butt

So I did it. I watched the season premiere of Nip/Tuck and boy was it delicious. Don't get me wrong, I mean, the show is completely ridiculous...way melodramatic, completely egotistical, and just plain silly. But I love it. I was excited that Rhona Mitra was joining the cast this season, but after watching her detective character in last night's episode....eh. I don't really like her character. She's what I call an "Oh puh-lease" character, where everytime she comes onscreen, that's all that comes to mind. It's quite a disappointment. She was so good in Boston Legal. And now, she has this whole tough girl act...one that is difficult to buy into. She's so absurd. Even more absurd is that sex scene at the end of the episode.

C'mon...a threesome? For reals now. That's just so ridiculous. I mean, they are all very attractive people, but come on now. And this is supposed to last a few episodes? This story line is straight out of some horny dude's mind. But I guess I can't completely discredit the writer. I mean, I am watching the show and will continue to do so. I just can't help but laugh and scoff at the absurdity.

Also worth mentioning is the preview of Matt McNamara's new 'do...

It's about time this Michael Jackson wannabe chopped off that mullet of his. It was getting way out of hand. Not to say that this new Sinead O'Connor look looks good on him, but really, anything is better than that mullet. Let's be honest...he's not that cute of a boy. I know, I know what you're thinking...you're a lesbian! Yes, you're right. Who am I to judge how cute a boy is? But honestly...does anyone think he's hot?
