I'm an asshole. I have already determined this...some odd years ago...but today it has resurfaced (who am I kidding, it's always been there). I was in the elevator at work when this guy got in. I thought it was funny because the last 7 times* I was in the elevator, he was in there with me. So I turned to my co-worker and said, "I feel like I'm always in the elevator with this guy." What? I was talking as if he wasn't there. I expected him to turn around and acknowledge my statement...maybe his shoulders would move up and down along with a chortle...but no. Nothing. It made my semi-asshole-ish remark be completely asshole-ish. Gah, I'm such an asshole.
